About Dr2

Doctor Square, or just "Dr2", is a eccentric smug unicorn, who works by day as a [ REDACTED ], and moonlights as an EDM artist. He likes rum, math, and morally questionable science. When he isn't working on musical experiments, he might be drinking, or plotting schemes - and most of the schemes involve rum. He loves sugary-sweet things, and occasionally sweet-to-sour foods as well. Square is a flirt, with no intentions to go anywhere with it. He smells like sickly-sweet chemicals and synthetic fruit. He usually wears all black, or all white, and rarely wears his lab coat - prefering to wear a sleeveless turtleneck to his preformances.

He's based more on traditional unicorns, having "blessings" and more loosely defined, "innate" magic and enchantments. He mostly makes devices or serums for whatever he really wants. He only appears to those of "pure hearts", which to his definition, is his most devoted fans - or whoever is giving him rum.

About Myself

I usually try to keep myself somewhat private, as I've recently turned over a leaf that anonymity on the internet is a sacred thing we've begun to lose over time. That being said, everyone is intrigued by a mystery, and everyone loves to relate to people, so here's a bit of information about myself, while hopefully still being vague.

My monikers are "Doc", or "Square", and I use "He/Him" pronouns. Not a fan of labels for myself when it comes to sexuality and gender - both seem to fluctuate in a manner that makes them hard to quantify, and tedius to agonize over. I'd simply call myself "Gay" and be done with it, though I like the labels of "Man" and "Man-Loving" for the most part - it's not entirely accurate as I fall more under "bisexual" and "genderqueer". So my gender and sexuality are mostly just "some flavor of fruit".

As a warning, I use "fruit" to describe myself often, and the other term for a "bundle of sticks" on much, much rarer occasions. I try to uphold a personal rule of "I only call myself these words unless someone asks me to and I'm comfortable with that.", but some people can be uncomfortable with seeing these terms, so this stands as a signpost for your own comfort. I don't swear too often overall either, but I'm capable of it and I don't purposely keep my content clean. I think the words "cunt" and "cunty" is funny.

The name "Dr²" and "Dr Square" come from the mathmatical concept of exponents. The moniker is technically "Doctor Squared", but the idea of it being Square is also funny to me, so it stuck. I like math, but mostly in concepts. I think the naming schemes of numbers is bullshit - especially the "tweens and teens" (11-19) due to the difference in pronunciation throwing me off constantly while counting. Make them uniform, dammit!

I aspire to make psytrance and other EDM varieties, but I'm still learning composition, which means most of my music is gnere-less - as in "I didn't bother sticking to a gnere while making it" - so until I figure out how to stick to something, it's "electronic". I love arpeggios and chord progressions, and I enjoy making atypical drum patterns. My favorite gneres of EDM are Psytrance, IDM, Hardstyle, and possibly some others that I've not found the terms for. I only recently discovered that I'm an "EDM" guy, since I'm usually listening to almost any gnere. Went to a concert not too long ago, and found I was pulled into a new dimension when an experimental EDM set came on in a mostly punk concert.

I realized "This is it. This is what I need to do." and now I'm trying to figure out how to bring that magical feeling of escapism in music. Maybe pulling more thematic tones to it, but I want to make EDM. I also like rum.
